Tsurkova (nee Lopotukhina) Irina Zalmanovna
Genus. in 1959, Jewish; secondary education; typist. Lived in Leningrad. Samizdat typist, participated in the publication of the illegal magazine “Perspective”, was a witness in the case of A.S. Tsurkov. Sentenced in October 1979 by the Dzerzhinsky District Court of Leningrad under Art. 182 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR (for refusal to testify) to 3 months of corrective labor at the place of work. She participated in the work of the Russian Social Fund (a fund for assistance to political prisoners and their families). Arrested on December 20, 1982. Convicted on March 15, 1983 by the Leningrad City Court under Art. 190-1 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR for 3 years of a penal colony. Kept in the village. Bozoy and village Plishkino, Irkutsk region, liberated on December 20, 1985. After liberation, she lived at her husband’s place of exile in Troitsko-Pechorsk, and since 1987 - in Leningrad. Since 1990 she has lived in Israel with her husband and four children.
