Cherdyntsev Ivan Alekseevich

Born in 1938 in Petropavlovsk, North Kazakhstan Region. Russian, incomplete higher education. Previously convicted of general criminal charges. Biology teacher at a school for working youth. Lived in the village of Serpnevo, Tarutino District, Odessa Region. Member of the underground circle "Democratic Union of Socialists" (1963-1964). Arrested on 18.05.1964. Sentenced by the Supreme Court of the MSSR on 19.09.1964 under Art. 67, Part 1 of the Criminal Code of the MSSR, 64 of the Criminal Code of the Ukrainian SSR to 6 years in a penal colony. In custody in Dubravlag (ZhKh-385 / 7,1,11,3,19), Vladimir prison. In Dubravlag, tried on 28.09.1967 by the Zubovo-Polyansky District Court under Art. 206, part 2, for escaping from a punishment cell into a general prison zone for 6 years in a penal colony. Arrived at Penal Colony No. 36 ("Perm-36") on July 13, 1972. Released on September 4, 1973. After his release, he lived in Moscow. He was subjected to persecution: interrogation in the case of the magazine "Veche" (1974), a "conversation" about the explosions in the Moscow metro (1977), interrogation in the case of T.S. Osipova (1980), interrogation in the case of socialists (B.Yu. Kagarlitsky and others), summons to the police and a "warning" (1982), interrogation in the case of K.N. Popov (1985). He died in Moscow in 1993.
