Chinnov Anatoly Fedorovich
Genus. in 1938 in the village. Glukhovo, Gorky region, Russian, unemployed, higher education, chemist, postgraduate student. Before his arrest, he studied the works of Vladimir Solovyov, became interested in his philosophy, and became an Orthodox Christian. He believed that it was impossible to lead a Christian way of life in the USSR, and therefore tried to leave the country. Arrested in Uzhgorod in January 1968 for crossing the state border on religious grounds. Convicted on 12/15/1969 by the Transcarpathian Regional Court to compulsory psychiatric treatment. He was kept under compulsory treatment, first in the Dnepropetrovsk special psychiatric hospital, then in the Leningrad special psychiatric hospital on Arsenalnaya, in 1972 he was again transferred to Dnepropetrovsk. Commission 01/30/1974 again extended "treatment in a psychiatric hospital of a special type." Released in December 1974. After his release, he lived in Tuapse.
