On August 26, 1968, he was sentenced to 3 years in prison on charges of "malicious hooliganism", but in fact - for participation in the national movement. In 1972, he was sentenced to 1 year under Art. 196 of the Criminal Code of the Ukrainian SSR. Twice - in 1975 and in February 1979 - he was warned "by Decree". Lived in the village of Zhuravki, Kirovsky district, Crimean region, Ukrainian SSR. Arrested on 04/03/1979. Sentenced on 07/12/1979 under Art. 187-1 of the Criminal Code of the Ukrainian SSR to 3 years of penitentiary.
