Lived in the GSSR, Rustavi. Arrested on 03/31/1980. in the city of Rustavi for distributing leaflets calling for the liberation of Georgia. Convicted 02.10.1980 Judicial Collegium of the Supreme Court of the GSSR under Art. 71 of the Criminal Code of the GSSR (analogous to Article 70 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR) for 5 years of penal colony and 2 years of exile. He served his term in the Perm camps, VS-389/37, exile - in the Magadan region. Released in January (May?) 1987. by pardon. He returned to Rustavi, worked as a researcher at the city museum.
