Genus. 05/25/1935 in the village. Lubyanka, Rakytnyansky district, Kyiv region, in the family of an employee, Ukrainian, unemployed. Graduated from the Faculty of Journalism of Kyiv State University named after T. Shevchenko (1958). Worked in the press. In 1964-1967. studied at the graduate school of the Institute of Art History, Folklore and Ethnology named after M. T. Rylsky NAS of Ukraine. Published articles on cinema art. He worked in the newspapers "Evening Kyiv", "Selskie Vesti", "Antiquities". Arrested on 03/04/1972 for the production, storage and distribution of samizdat. Convicted by the Pechersky District Court of Kiev on June 20, 1972 under Article 206, part 2 of the Criminal Code of the Ukrainian SSR to 2 years in a penal colony. Contained in the Rivne region, art. Rafalovka. He was released on February 21, 1973 under an amnesty. Arrested on 10/31/1975 in Kyiv, convicted by the Kyiv City Court on 01/19/1976 under Art. 187-1 of the Criminal Code of the Ukrainian SSR to 3 years of a strict regime penitentiary. Released 10/30/1978. He was rehabilitated by the decision of the Plenum of the Supreme Court of the Ukrainian SSR on 08/11/1989. Died 07/23/2009 in Kyiv.
