1929, March 29. — Born in Moscow. Father – M.B. Etlis, former red commissar. Mother – I.S. Tsybulina.

1920s, beginning. — Arrest and release of father.

1940s — Study at the 3rd Medical Institute in Moscow. The moral atmosphere at the institute after the session of VASKhNIL (August 1948).

1949–1953, beginning. — Moving to Ryazan in connection with the transfer of the former 3rd Medical Institute there and the creation on its basis of the Ryazan Medical Institute named after. I.P. Pavlova.

1951. - Refusal to join the student organization “Union of Struggle for the Cause of Revolution” (SDR).

1952, March 26. — Execution of SDR participants V. Furman, E. Gurevich, B. Slutsky.

1953, night from 4 to 5 March. — Arrest in Ryazan.

1953, March - 1953, mid. — Ryazan prison. Consequence. Hunger strike. Force feeding. Sentence: 25 years in prison: Art. 58, pp. 8 (after 19), 10, 11 (after 19). Stage through Chelyabinsk to Ekibastuz.

1953, autumn - 1954. - Ekibastuzugol. Work in a stone quarry (team of reinforcement workers and masons). Participation in the construction of the Ekibastuz Thermal Power Plant.

1955. - Transfer to Ryazan for “re-transport”. Return to Kazakhstan (stage Ryazan - Moscow - Dzhezkazgan).

1955 (?). — Decision of the Military Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR to reduce the term of imprisonment to 10 years (Article 58-10).

1955–1956. — Camp in Dzhezkazgan. Work as a camp doctor.

1956. - Amnesty. Return to Moscow.

1957. - Rehabilitation.

Since 1989. -Chairman of the Magadan branch of the Memorial Society.

1991, summer. — Participation in the opening of a monument (stone with a memorial plaque) on “Serpantinka” (Kolyma Internal Death Prison).

1991. – Together with A. S. Sandler, he published the book “Contemporaries of the Gulag: A Book of Memoirs and Reflections.”

1996, June. — Participation in the opening of the monument to the sculptor E. Neizvestny and architect K. Kazaev “Mask of Sorrow” at the foot of the “Krutaya” hill (Magadan).

Advisor to the President of the Northern International University in Magadan.

2013, April. – Died at the age of 84.
