Genus. in 1911 in Ekaterinoslav province. Higher education - Vorovsky Communist Institute of Journalism (1937). He worked as secretary of the regional newspaper "New Way". Lived in the village of Zaluchye, Novgorod region. Arrested on August 14, 1937. Sentenced by the Troika UNKVD of the Leningrad Region on November 20, 1937 on charges of counter-revolutionary agitation to 10 years in labor camp. He served time in Sevvostlag, in the Magadan region. In this case, he was rehabilitated on November 20, 1957 by the Novgorod Regional Court. Being a prisoner of Sevvostlag, he was sentenced by the Military Tribunal of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for Dalstroy on 03/04/1943 on charges under Art. 58-10 part 2. to 10 years of labor camp and 5 years of disqualification. Rehabilitated in this case on 04/09/1962 by the Presidium of the Magadan Regional Court. For the third time, he was sentenced by the Military Tribunal of the Ministry of Internal Affairs troops for Dalstroy on May 12, 1948 to 10 years of labor camp and 5 years of disqualification. He continued to serve his sentence in Sevvostlag. Released on October 17, 1952. Author of four books of memoirs. Died on November 13, 2013 in St. Petersburg.
