Genus. in 1905 in the village of Kumanevo (according to other sources - Zhedritsy churchyard), Ostrovsky district, Pskov region; Russian. According to his niece, from 1925 to 1935 he served time in the Vishera camps. Arrested for the second time on October 19, 1940, while being a 3rd year student at a medical institute in Perm. Sentenced by the NKVD troika on December 25, 1940 under Article 58-10 (anti-Soviet agitation) to 10 years in prison. In custody in Yamal. After his release at the end of 1950, he became a paramedic at a first-aid post in the Kirov district of the Murmansk region. Rehabilitated in 1961
