Genus. 02.11.1896 in the village. Kochubeevka, Kherson province of Ukraine; German; Mennonite; higher education; b/p. Lived in Moscow, st. Yakimanka, 6/2, apt. 14. Worked as a teacher and head of the department of foreign languages at the Higher Technical Institution at the NKTP (Narkomtyazhprom). Arrested on 04/08/1935, presumably due to his refusal to be an informer*. Sentenced on June 20, 1935 by a special meeting of the NKVD of the USSR “For participation in a counter-revolutionary organization” under Art. 58-10 and 58-11 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR to 5 years of labor camp. In conclusion on about. Prorva, Astrakhan region until October 1936, where he worked as a timekeeper and teacher. 01/19/1937 arrived at Ukhtpechlag NKVD, Komi Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic. Arrested again on December 16, 1937, charged under Art. 58-10, 58-11 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR. By resolution of the troika under the NKVD in the Arkhangelsk region dated January 09, 1938, he was sentenced to VMN. Shot on March 21, 1938. Rehabilitated by a resolution of the Presidium of the Arkhangelsk Regional Court dated March 3, 1960.
