Genus. in 1916 in Harbin (China). After the sale of the CER in 1936, he returned to Russia, to Leningrad. Arrested 10/17/1937. Accused of spying for Japanese intelligence. By a resolution of the Special Meeting of the NKVD of the USSR dated 01/07/1938, he was sentenced to 10 years in a labor camp for counter-revolutionary activities. 04/01/1938 arrived at the stage in the camp in the Ivdelsky district of the Sverdlovsk region. In 1940 he was sent to Sevzheldorlag (Komi ASSR), where he joined the propaganda brigade and was appointed its leader. Until the end of his term, he led theater and variety groups in the camp. After early release in October 1945, he remained in the same position for free employment - director and artistic director of the theater and variety group of the Sevzheldorlag of the USSR Ministry of Internal Affairs, director of the regional House of Culture. Lived in the village Railway, w / d. Art. Prince-Pogost. Arrested for the second time on 04/02/1950, he was kept in a prison under the administration of the MGB in Syktyvkar. By a resolution of a special meeting of the NKVD of the USSR, he was sentenced to permanent settlement in the Novosibirsk Region. Rehabilitated in March 1956. In the 1990s he emigrated to Israel.
