Editor of the magazine "Maria", which had a critical orientation and was dedicated to the problems of the position of women in Soviet society (late 1981s)
Genus. in 1948 in Leningrad; Russian; higher education - in 1975 she graduated from the Leningrad Institute of Theater, Music and Cinematography with a degree in puppet theater artist. Unable to find a job in my field, I got a job as an operator in a gas boiler house. Since 1980 she has participated in the independent feminist movement. Together with G. Grigorieva, she released the first issue of the women's magazine “Maria”; performed the general artistic design of the magazine and published her poems. Several poems were included in the Anthology of Women's Poetry (1980), which could not be completed. Arrested on September 24, 1980 for writing an appeal to the women of the world protesting against the entry of Soviet troops into Afghanistan. 01/12/1981 sentenced by the Leningrad City Court under Art. 190-1 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR to 10 months in prison, under Art. 196 part 3 (forgery of an entry in the work book) to 6 months of imprisonment with absorption. In custody in Sablina near Leningrad. Released in July 1981. After release, together with G. Grigorieva, she published the sixth issue of the magazine “Maria”. While preparing the seventh issue, she was arrested on March 13, 1982. Sentenced by the Leningrad City Court on July 1, 1982 under Art. 70 part 1 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR to 4 years of penal colony and 2 years of exile. In custody in Dubravlaga, ZH-385/3-4 village. Barashevo MASSR. By the ruling of the Supreme Court of the RSFSR dated 08/09/1982, the link was excluded from the verdict. Released on March 13, 1986. Rehabilitated on 06/08/1992 by the conclusion of the St. Petersburg prosecutor’s office on the basis of the “Law on the Rehabilitation of Victims of Political Repression.” Works as a graphic designer at the Museum of the History of St. Petersburg (Peter and Paul Fortress).
