In 1928 he graduated from high school and worked as an electrician at the Red Thread factory; in 1930 he completed university preparation courses. Since 1932 student at LEMI, specialty "Automation and Remote Control". In October 1937, a 5th year student, graduate (by order of the institute dated January 21, 1938, he was expelled “for failure to attend classes”), at the same time a senior technician at Teploelektroproekt; arrested 11/21/1937; sentenced by the Special Troika of the UNKVD on 12/03/1937 to 10 years in labor camp. Released on November 21, 1947. Rehabilitated by the Presidium of the Leningrad City Court on January 6, 1956.
