Genus. in 1888 in Blagoveshchensk-on-Amur. Jew, non-partisan. He received his higher medical education in Switzerland, Zurich, and then at the University of Berlin in 1910–1913. During the First World War he served at the front as a field surgeon in an automobile medical battalion. Microbiologist, head of the Leather and Raw Materials Research Laboratory, before his arrest, a researcher at the Leningrad branch of the All-Russian Research Institute of Water Supply and Sanitary Engineering. Lived in Leningrad, st. Nekrasova, 6, apt. 4. Arrested 10/02/1937. Sentenced by the Commission of the NKVD and the USSR Prosecutor's Office on January 10, 1938 on charges under Art. Art. 58-1a and 58-9 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR to the VMN. Shot on January 15, 1938. Burial place - Leningrad. Rehabilitated by the ruling of the Military Tribunal of the Belarusian Military District dated November 5, 1957. 07/25/2015 in memory of Abram and Ilya Dauman in St. Petersburg at house No. 6 on the street. Nekrasov, a sign for the “Last Address” project was installed.
