Alekseev Ivan Frolovich
Agronomist
Born in 1898 in the village of Skiritsy, Luzhsky District, Leningrad Region; from peasants; higher education - in 1917. Graduated from the theological seminary, in 1924 - from the agricultural institute; no p. In 1929 he worked as an agronomist at the Belogorsk regional experimental station, then as a senior agronomist of the District Kolkhoz Union. Before his arrest, he worked in the Administration of collective livestock commodity farms of the Regional Agricultural Union. Lived in Krasnogvardeysk (now Gatchina), ul. 25 Oktyabrya, bldg. 78, apt. 6. Arrested on 01/08/1933. Held in the DPS until 07/12/1933. Sentenced by a troika of the PP OGPU in the LVO on 07/05/1933 under Art. 58-7 and 58-11 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR to exile to Zapsibkrai for 3 years. In exile - to the village of Pudino (Tomsk region), where he worked as a senior agronomist until 25.01.1936. At the end of the term of administrative exile, he left with his family for Smolensk, and then to Gorky region. During the Great Patriotic War, he worked as the chief agronomist of the Urensky district of the Gorky region. After the war, the family returned to the Leningrad region, settled in the village of Tolmachovo, Luzhsky district. He was fond of painting. He died in 1976.
