Genus. in Warsaw. Before the war, associate professor of the Leningrad Mining Institute, head. Department of Mineralogy VSEGEI. From 1941 at the front, captured, after liberation he was in the army on German territory. Arrested upon returning from the army. Convicted on March 4, 1946 by the Leningrad Military District under Art. 58-1 “a” of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR for 10 years of labor camp and 5 years of deprivation of political rights. He served his sentence in Norillag. From 1946 to the 1960s, together with N.N. Fedorov. headed the school of petrographers and mineralogists in Norilsk. Awarded the Order of Lenin and the Red Banner of Labor. He was the curator of the USSR Ministry of Geosciences for nickel and platinum. Member of the Higher Attestation Commission, honorary member of the All-Union Mineralogical Society. Rehabilitated on November 10, 1956 by the Military Commissariat of the USSR Armed Forces. Awarded the Order of Lenin and the Red Banner of Labor. Died 06/04/1984 in Moscow.
