Genus. in 1898 in the Kovno province (Lithuania); Lithuanian; member of the RCP(b) since July 1918. Participant in the Civil War. From June 1918 to August 1933 in the transport authorities of the Cheka-OGPU, he held the positions of head of the Road Transport Department (DTO) on the Syzran-Vyazemskaya, Tashkent, Ryazan-Ural, Moscow-Belarusian-Baltic, Southwestern Railways. In 1932, head of the Transport Department (TO) of the GPU of the Ukrainian SSR. From August 1933 he was the head of the South-Western Railway, from November 21, 1934 to April 11, 1937, he was the head of the Trans-Baikal Railway in Chita. Lived in Khabarovsk. Arrested by the road transport department of the NKVD Far Eastern Railway on September 22, 1937. Charged under Art. Art. 58-1a, 58-8, 58-11 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR. On December 29, 1939, the case was dismissed due to lack of proof of the accusation. Seconded to the Far Eastern Railway. Died 11/26/1943.
