Genus. in 1899 in Bjorneborg (Finland); Finn; member of the CPSU (b) in 1921-37; Ph.D. member of the Union of Sov. writers, graduate student at the Institute of Literature of the USSR Academy of Sciences, before his arrest, a revolver worker at the plant named after. Engels. Arrested 10/25/1937. Sentenced by the Commission of the NKVD and the USSR Prosecutor's Office on January 17, 1938 to VMN. Shot on January 27, 1938 in Leningrad.
