Genus. in 1883 (1887) in the village of Golenka, Poltava province; Jew; from the townspeople; member of the RSDLP(m) since 1905; Secretary of the Main Committee of the RSDLP of Ukraine (1921); member of the Bureau of the Central Committee. In 1920 he lived in Kharkov: arrested on 08/15/1920; sentenced 12/11/1920 to exile in Georgia; illegally returned to Ukraine. In 1922 he lived in Kharkov; worked as the head of the publishing department of Vukopspilka; arrested in March 1922; was kept in the Kharkov prison; sentenced 04/04/1922 to exile in Turkestan for 1 year; when transported from Tashkent to Aulie-Ata, he fled on 08/29/1922. Lived in Moscow; arrested (according to some information - by the measures taken by the search, according to others - accidentally identified by an OGPU officer on the street) 10/08/1922; sentenced by the NKVD Commission on administrative deportations on 01/05/1923 to 1 year in a concentration camp (Pertominsk, Solovki); at the end of his term, he was sentenced to 3 years of exile in Aktyubinsk. In the early 1930s he was serving a "minus" in Ulyanovsk. In 1938 he lived in Simferopol; sentenced to 8 years in labor camp. Rehabilitated 11/18/1991. After rehabilitation he lived in Saratov. He died in 1976. In the case of 1922, he was rehabilitated by the prosecutor's office of the Kharkov region of the Republic of Ukraine on 03/05/1997.
