On February 17, 1935, he was sentenced by a special meeting at the NKVD of the USSR for "assistance to the counter-revolutionary Zinoviev group" to 3 years of exile in the city of Verkhoyansk (according to other sources - in the village of Verkholensk). Arrested again in 1937. By a special meeting at the NKVD of the USSR on April 17, 1937, he was sentenced to 5 years in labor camp. He served his sentence in Sevvostlag (Kolyma). On 08/06/1938, the UNKVD troika for Dalstroy was sentenced to capital punishment. Shot on 08/06/1938. Rehabilitated by the Presidium of the Leningrad City Court on 11/29/1957.
