Born in 1870 in the village of Zhurishki, Epifansky district, Tula province, Russian, from the nobility, non-party member, colonel of the imperial army. In February 1917, he welcomed the revolution, was elected deputy of the Helsinki Soviet. After the October Revolution, he served in the military hydrography of the Red Army, then in the system of the Main Directorate of the Northern Sea Route under the Council of People's Commissars of the USSR (GUSMP). He was arrested in Omsk in 1931. In 1935 - deputy head of the Hydrographic Directorate of the Main Directorate of the Northern Sea Route. Arrested as a socially dangerous element on March 2, 1935; sentenced by the OS under the NKVD of the USSR on March 31, 1935 to exile in Astrakhan for 5 years. In 1938 he lived in Leningrad (4 Proletkulta St., Apt. 27), worked as the head of the instrument chamber of the Main Directorate of the Northern Sea Route. Arrested on 28.03.1938; sentenced by the post of the Special Troika of the NKVD of the Leningrad Region on 02.11.1938 under Art. 58-1a, 58-8, 58-9, 58-11 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR to capital punishment; executed in Leningrad on 03.11.1938. Rehabilitated in the 1935 case by the Leningrad Prosecutor's Office on 18.09.1989; in the 1938 case - VP LVO on 31.08.1989.
