Ott Albert Albertovich

Genus. in 1881. Graduate of the Imperial Moscow Technical School (IMTU) in 1907, mechanical engineer. Professor at the Moscow Higher Technical School, he created the department of “Hydraulics” and headed it until his arrest. Arrested in Moscow on March 5, 1938. Convicted under Art. 58. Sentenced by a Special Meeting of the NKVD of the USSR on July 23, 1938 to 8 (according to other sources - to 10) years in labor camp. He is listed on the list of Mandelstam’s echelon, which was to be sent to the Sevvostlag of the NKVD - first to Vladivostok, and from there to Kolyma. At the beginning of 1940, news of death was received. By the ruling of the military tribunal of the Moscow Military District dated July 25, 1957, he was rehabilitated.
