In November 1956, members of the circle spread in the corridors of Leningrad University and the Leningrad Pedagogical Institute. Sentenced on September 19, 1957 by the Leningrad City Court to 3 years in the camps and 2 years of loss of rights. He served his sentence in Dubravlaga. In 1959 he was released on parole.
