Genus. in 1948 in Kaunas, Lithuanian, higher education, process engineer at VNII. Arrested on March 27, 1973 in Kaunas for participation in an anti-Soviet group and distributing anti-Soviet leaflets in February 1972 in Kaunas. Convicted by the Supreme Court of the Lithuanian SSR on 03/05/1974. according to Art. 68 part 1 of the Criminal Code of the Latvian SSR. Held in Mordovia, Barashevo (ZH-385/3-5), Potma (ZH-385/19). Released on March 27, 1975. Returned to Kaunas. In 1988 completed postgraduate studies by correspondence. Rehabilitated on July 28, 1989. In 1990 - Deputy of the Supreme Council of Lithuania.
