Genus. in 1897 in the city of Glukhov, former Chernigov province. Graphic artist, violinist. In 1927 he was arrested and sentenced to 3 years in the camps. While imprisoned in the Solovetsky camp, he married V.P. Hermann. After his release in exile in Arkhangelsk, he played the violin in the Arkhangelsk Regional Orchestra, worked in a publishing house, and was chairman of the Arkhangelsk Artist Association. Arrested on January 25, 1941 on charges of anti-Soviet agitation. Sentenced by the Arkhangelsk Regional Court on June 23-24, 1941 to 10 years in the camps. In custody in the Konetsgorsk branch of the Kuloilaga of the NKVD of the Arkhangelsk region. Sentenced to death by the Military Tribunal of the NKVD troops of the Arkhangelsk region on June 24-25, 1942. Shot on September 12, 1942. Rehabilitated by the Supreme Court of the RSFSR on June 16, 1958.
