He was an assistant to the Chief Military Prosecutor of the Red Army and concurrently - director of the Institute of Criminal and Correctional Labor Policy. From 1931 he taught criminal law at the Central School of the Republic of Kazakhstan Militia, the Moscow Law Institute, the All-Union Law Academy under the All-Union Central Executive Committee of the USSR. Arrested on 07/03/1937, passed on the "Stalin list", category 2. Sentenced on 01/26/1938 by the Military Collegium of the USSR Armed Forces under Art. 17-58, p. 8, 11 to 10 years of labor camp and 5 years of disqualification. From 07/17/1939 he was transferred to Norillag, from 03/16/1943 - to Dudinka, from 05/17/1945 - to 8 l / o Norillag in Krasnoyarsk. Released 07/31/1947. In 1949 he was re-arrested and sentenced to indefinite exile in Krasnoyarsk. After rehabilitation he returned to Moscow. Since 1958 - senior researcher at the All-Union Institute of Legal Sciences, and since 1963 - senior researcher at the All-Union Institute for the Study of the Causes and Development of Crime Prevention Measures under the USSR Prosecutor's Office. He promoted Soviet law, was a member of the Scientific Advisory Council of the Supreme Court of the RSFSR, a member of the Scientific and Methodological Council of the Knowledge Society of the RSFSR.
