Shcherbov-Nefedovich Dmitry Pavlovich
Born in 1906 in Yuryev. Graduated from a film technical school, then three years of a correspondence technological institute. Head of the physical and chemical laboratory at the Leningrad film factory "Lenfilm". Lived in Leningrad (Kirochnaya St., Bldg. 52, Apt. 31). Arrested on November 6, 1935. Sentenced by the Special Collegium of the Leningrad Regional Court on February 3, 1936 to 5 years in the camps. Imprisoned in Medvezhyegorsk, then in exile in Orsk. After the war, he lived in Alma-Ata. Worked in the field of analytical chemistry at the Kazakh Geological Administration, at the Kazakh Institute of Mineral Raw Materials. Without higher education, he became a doctor of science "based on the totality of his works". Rehabilitated in 1957.
