Genus. in 1892 in the village of Sutoki, Novgorod province, in a peasant family. Graduated from city school. From 1908 he worked as a census taker in the Novgorod Treasury, and as an external student passed the exam for the position of primary school teacher at the Novgorod Men's Gymnasium in 1911. He worked as a teacher in a rural school. In 1914 he was mobilized, in 1915 he returned after treatment in the hospital to the village of Sutoki, worked at a school. In 1918 he entered the Teachers' Institute in Novgorod, and at the same time worked as a teacher in rural schools. He graduated from the institute in 1922, worked at a secondary school in Novgorod. From 1925 to 1926 - in administrative work. From 1926 to 1930 he worked as an inspector of junior and secondary schools in the Novgorod district. From 1930 to 1937 he worked as the director of the Second Secondary School in Novgorod. In the 1937/38 academic year - director of the IV secondary school in Novgorod and teacher. In the future - only in teaching work. Arrested in Novgorod on the night of February 23, 1941, accused of anti-Soviet agitation. Sentenced by the Novgorod Regional Court on May 6, 1941 to 10 years in the camps. Transported to Leningrad before the start of the war. Imprisoned in Kazakhstan in Kyzyltau. Died in the camp.
