Gundobin Vasily Vasilievich

Born April 5, 1874. Studied at the Moscow School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture, the Cormon Academy in Paris, and the Sorbonne Faculty of Arts. From 1903 to 1930 he lived and worked in Samara, taught drawing at Samara educational institutions. From 1904 he participated in exhibitions of Samara artists. After 1917 he was the keeper of the local history museum, a decorator in Samara theaters. In 1930 he moved to Leningrad (ul. Khalturina, bldg. 25, apt. 43). Assistant at LIIZhT. Arrested in 1941, transferred from Leningrad. Did not arrive at Prison No. 3 in Tomsk during transfer (died en route). Rehabilitated.
