Bocharov Efrem Mikhailovich
Dean of the Faculty of History and Associate Professor of the Department of Political Economy at the Gorky Pedagogical Institute
Born in 1903 in St. Petersburg; Russian; higher education; member of the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks). Dean of the History Department and Associate Professor of the Political Economy Department at the Gorky Pedagogical Institute. Lived in Gorky, Lyadov Street, Building 14, Apt. 3. Arrested on January 30, 1935. Sentenced on May 15, 1935 by a Special Conference under Article 58-10 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR to 3 years of exile in Kazakhstan. Lived in Alma-Ata. Arrested on February 20, 1936. Sentenced on May 28 , 1936 by a Special Conference under Article 58-10 to 5 years in a correctional labor camp. Sentenced to capital punishment by the Military Collegium of the Supreme Court on October 2, 1936 on charges of counter-revolutionary terrorist activity . Shot on 03.10.1936 in Moscow, burial place - Donskoye Cemetery. Rehabilitated by the Military Commission of the USSR Armed Forces on 06.06.1956.
