Pretetsky Leonid Mefodievich
Resident of Nikolaev, Ukraine. Arrested on June 23, 1941, died in Tomsk prison in 1942
A native of the village of Stepashino, Ladyzhensky district, Vinnytsia region, Ukrainian, son of a priest. In 1938 he was arrested as a member of a political gang, but was released due to lack of evidence. In 1941 he lived in the city of Nikolaev, worked as the head of the operational department of Soyuzzagottrans.
Arrested on June 23, 1941, accused of crimes under Art. 54-10, Part 1 of the Criminal Code of the Ukrainian SSR. In 1941, he was transported by reinforced convoy to the Siberian region of the USSR, and on July 20, 1941, he ended up in prison No. 3 of the NKVD NSO (Tomsk). In January 1942, he was transferred to the Special Conference of the NKVD of the USSR.
He died in Tomsk prison on June 24, 1942.
