Krasnoshapka Matvey Ivanovich
District Commandant of the Toinsky District Commandant's Office of the OTSP NKVD for the Novosibirsk Region
Member of the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks) since 1926. Native of Poltava Province. From poor peasants, Ukrainian, primary education (4th grade). From 1908 he lived in Siberia, as a peasant on his father's farm, then as a blacksmith worker. In September-November 1919 he served in Kolchak's army, deserted and went into hiding. In 1920-1923 he served in the Red Army. In the OGPU-NKVD since 1933, he was the village commandant of the OSP in Tyumen, then in Tomsk, where he treated special settlers "outrageously". In June 1934, the duty commandant of the OSP PP OGPU ZSK (Novosibirsk), was arrested for 5 days. From 1934 he worked in the system of special commandant's offices of the SibLAG OGPU. In October 1937, he was the village commandant of the Tyazhinsky district commandant's office (Teguldetsky district) of the NSO OTSP UNKVD. In January 1941–1944, he was the district commandant of the Toinsky district commandant's office (Chainsky district of the Narym district) of the NSO OTSP UNKVD.
