Geyer Voldemar Konradovich
An exiled German in 1941, deported from Saratov to Tomsk.
Born in the Saratov region, German. In September 1941, at the age of 9, based on the Decree of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR dated August 28, 1941, he was deported from Saratov to Tomsk together with his father, Geyer Konrad Kondradovich, born in 1897, his mother, Geyer Amalia Petrovna, born in 1893, and his sisters, Erna, born in 1922, and Lilia, born in 1935. In Tomsk, the family lived at 14 Karl Marx Street, Apt. 1.
On December 20, 1948, at the age of 16, he signed a receipt stating that he had been informed of the Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of November 26, 1948, that he had been sent to a special settlement forever without the right to return to his previous place of residence and that for unauthorized departure (escape) from the place of compulsory settlement he would be sentenced to 20 years of hard labor.
Voldemar attended School No. 3 in Tomsk, after which he entered the Tomsk Forestry College. On September 6, 1954, while still a second-year student at the college, he was removed from the special settlement register based on USSR Ministry of Internal Affairs Order No. 00597 of July 16, 1954. His subsequent fate is unclear from archival materials.
