Forrat Erika Alexandrovna

Born June 29, 1921, in Saratov, she was a student at the Saratov Medical Institute. In September 1941, as a person of German nationality, she and her family were deported to the Novosibirsk Region by the Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of August 28, 1941, where she continued her studies at the Novosibirsk Medical Institute and was a third-year medical student. However, in April 1942, she and her family were transferred to the village of Kargasok in the Narym District, where she found employment as a worker at a fish processing plant in the village.

Family composition: mother - Forrat Linina Andreevna, born in 1898; sister - Forrat Inna Aleksandrovna, born in 1927; and sister Forrat Elya Aleksandrovna, born in 1932. In 1949, they were in a special settlement in the village of Kargasok, Tomsk region. Her father, Forrat Aleksandr Georgievich, born in 1896, was in a special settlement in the village of Shchuchy Mys, Kargasok district. Her uncle, Forrat Rudolf Georgievich, was in a special settlement in the city of Tomsk, and her aunt, Neifeld Maria Andreevna, born in 1896, was exiled to Karaganda, Kazakh SSR.

In 1946, she applied for permission to continue her studies at the Tomsk Medical Institute, which required moving to Tomsk, but was rejected by the special authorities. In 1946, she submitted her documents and was invited to enroll in the first year of the Tomsk School of Paramedics and Midwives. However, this time, too, she was rejected. Only in 1964 did she receive permission to move to Kolpashevo, Tomsk Oblast, to attend a two-year nursing school. In February 1956, she was removed from the special settlement register. Her subsequent fate is unclear from archival records.
