Genus. in 1903 in Kyiv. Graduated from the Leningrad Institute of Film Engineers (LIKI). Cinematographer of the film studio "Lenfilm". Arrested in the summer of 1937. Convicted by the Military Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR on May 18, 1938 under Articles 58-7, 58-8, part 17, 58-11 of the Criminal Code. In conclusion - in the Khabarovsk Territory, PO Box 261, 261/31, 261/75. 08/20/1940 the verdict was canceled by the Plenum of the Supreme Court of the USSR, the case was sent for further investigation, transferred to Leningrad. In connection with the outbreak of war, he was evacuated to the Zlatoust prison, where, according to eyewitnesses, he died on May 19, 1942. He was rehabilitated by the decision of the KGB for the Leningrad region of 03/08/1956.
