Voronov Boris Alexandrovich
Genus. in 1891 in St. Petersburg; Russian; b/p, higher education - graduated from the Technological Institute. From 1925 he worked at the Elektroapparat plant, and in the late 1920s he was sent to factories in Germany and the USA. Upon his return, he was appointed head of the Department of Electrical Engineering at the Leningrad Textile Institute. From the beginning of the 1930s, he taught at the Leningrad Electromechanical Institute, the Industrial Institute, lectured at the Industrial Academy, and served as a design consultant for the Moscow and Ural hardware factories. In 1936 he was approved as acting professor in the Department of Electrical Equipment Engineering at the Leningrad Industrial Institute. Lived in Leningrad, Mokhovaya st., 28, apt. 10. Arrested 11/02/1937. Sentenced by the Commission of the NKVD and the USSR Prosecutor's Office on November 19, 1937 under Art. Art. 58-7-9-11 Criminal Code of the RSFSR to VMN. Shot in Leningrad on November 24, 1937.
06/05/2016 at house No. 28 on Mokhovaya Street in memory of B.A. Voronov. A personal memorial sign was installed as part of the "Last Address" project.
