Genus. in 1904 Mukden, China. He graduated from the Russian gymnasium in Harbin. He worked as a clerk for foreign trading companies in China. When Soviet troops entered Mukden in August 1945, he was used by the Soviet command as a translator, but after several days of work, SMERSH was arrested. Sentenced to 10 years in prison without the right to correspondence and 5 years of exile in Kazakhstan under public supervision. In 1957 he accepted Soviet citizenship. Rehabilitated in 1960 by the Presidium of the Sverdlovsk Regional Court. He died in Leningrad in 1994.
