Odynets Lev Iosifovich
Born in 1885 in the village of Lyudinovo, Zhizdrinsky district, Kaluga province, Polish. From 1914 he worked at the Sormovsky machine-building plant in the plant management. From 1923 - head of the representative office of GOMZ (State Association of Machine-Building Plants) in Nizhny Novgorod. From 1925 he lived with his family in Leningrad (3rd line of V.O., bldg. 8, apt. 3). He was arrested for the first time in 1925 "for concluding contracts with private plants", acquitted and released in the fall of 1926. In 1937 he worked as the head of supplies at Shipbuilding Plant No. 190 named after Zhdanov. Arrested on September 1, 1937 on charges of organizing an espionage and sabotage group at the Zhdanov plant, connected with Polish intelligence . Sentenced by decree Commissions of the NKVD and the Prosecutor of the USSR from 09/22/1937 under Art. 58-6-9-11 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR to capital punishment . He was shot in Leningrad on September 29, 1937 (according to other sources, on September 26, 1937). Rehabilitated by the Military Troops of the Carpathian Military District on September 16, 1957.
