Odynets Lev Lvovich

Born in 1913 in the village of Lyudinovo, Zhizdrinsky district, Kaluga province. After school, he worked at the Kirov plant. In 1933, he entered the physics and mechanics department of the Polytechnic Institute. Lived in Leningrad (V.O., 3rd line, building 8, apt. 3). After the arrest of his father and the expulsion of his mother, based on the decision of the Commission of the NKVD of the Leningrad Region dated October 16, 1937, he was exiled to the Omsk region together with his brother without specifying the term of expulsion. From 1937 to 1940 he lived in the village of Chernak, Omsk region, in 1939 he moved to Omsk, worked in the physics department of the Omsk Agricultural Institute. In 1940 he illegally came to Leningrad, on June 21, 1941 he defended his diploma at the Polytechnic Institute. In 1941 he moved to the city of Namangan, Uzbek SSR. In 1944 he was drafted into the army, worked in the NKVD troops, providing radio communications in prisoner of war camps. Demobilized in 1946. Lived in Tashkent. Worked as the head of the central laboratory of the Tashkabel plant. From 1955 - teacher at the Novosibirsk Electrotechnical Institute, in 1960 he defended his dissertation, from 1961 he lived in Petrozavodsk, worked as the head of the department of the physics faculty of Petrozavodsk University. Administrative exile was canceled by the decree of the UOP Leningrad Regional City Executive Committee dated 31.01.1962, rehabilitated. Retired in 1981. Died in April 2003.
