Petkevich Vladislav Iosifovich (Osipovich)
Born in 1890 in Riga; Polish; member of the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks) in 1918-1937. Head of the Material Department of the Naziya peat enterprise. Before his arrest, he lived at the Zhikharev station in the Mginsky district of the Leningrad region (Komsomolsky pr., bldg. 8, apt. 5), address in Leningrad: 1st line of V.O., bldg. 50, apt. 22. Arrested on 23.11.1937. By the Resolution of the NKVD Commission and the USSR Prosecutor of 10.01.1938, he was sentenced under Articles 58-6-9-11 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR. to maximum punishment. Shot on 15.01.1938 in Leningrad according to the so-called List of Polish Spies No. 54. Rehabilitated by the decision of the Leningrad Military District Military Tribunal on 16.09.1957.
On June 5, 2016, a personal memorial sign was installed on house No. 60 on the 1st Line of Vasilyevsky Island of St. Petersburg in memory of V.I. Petkevich as part of the Last Address project.
