Born in 1902 in Kremenchug, Poltava Governorate; Jewish; Komsomol member since 1919. In 1905, the family moved to Pavlograd, Dnepropetrovsk Region. In 1919-1920, he studied at the military-political courses (at the provincial Soviet Party school) in Yekaterinoslav, served as a political instructor of the 2nd company of the Yekaterinoslav guard battalion; from 1921 - member of the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks). In 1925, he graduated from the Medical Faculty of the 1st Moscow Medical Institute. In 1925-1926, he served as a regimental doctor. From 1928 - in Leningrad. He worked as the head physician of the Balinsky Psychiatric Hospital and a research fellow at the Academician Pavlov Psychiatric Clinic at the VIEMA laboratories, and is a candidate of medical sciences. 07/09/1937 exiled from Leningrad. Worked as a psychiatrist at a children's psychiatric hospital in Samarkand. Arrested on 01/11/1943. Sentenced on 05/22/1943 by the Samarkand Regional Court to 10 years in a labor camp. While in prison, he worked at the Republican Hospital of the Uzbek SSR's UITLK in Tashkent and at the Central Psychiatric Hospital of the GULAG in Shcherbakov. Released on 11/12/1953. Sent into exile to Yeniseisk, Krasnoyarsk Krai. In 1953, he worked in the hospital's subsidiary farm. On 08/21/1955, he was released from exile and sent to Leningrad, where he worked as a district psychiatrist in Slantsy, Leningrad Region. Rehabilitated on 04.06.1956 by the Supreme Court of the Ukrainian SSR and by the decree of the Leningrad Regional Executive Committee Department of Internal Affairs on 16.12.1957   according to the sentence of 1937

He died in 1964.
