In 1935–1936, Deputy People's Commissar of Railways of the USSR; arrested on November 16, 1936 in the case of the “Parallel Anti-Soviet Trotskyist Center”, was accused in the Second Moscow Trial; sentenced by the Supreme Commissariat of the USSR Armed Forces on January 29, 1937 to VMN; shot 02/01/1937; burial place - Moscow, Donskoye Cemetery. Rehabilitated by the Plenum of the Supreme Court of the USSR on June 13, 1988.
