Genus. in 1894 in the city of Kholmogory, Arkhangelsk province, from the nobility. A student of the Bestuzhev Higher Women's Courses, she served in the Russian Geographical Society. Since 1922 studied at Leningrad State University in the anthropological department, worked at the Institute of Material Culture of the Academy of Sciences. In 1924-1925 she organized an expedition to little-explored northern regions on behalf of the Russian Museum and a number of government organizations. Since 1925 - assistant curator of the ethnographic department of the Russian Museum. Dismissed 03/01/1931 in connection with the arrest. Sentenced to exile for 3 years in Siberia. After serving her term of settlement in the Tomsk region (1931 - 1935), she moved to Kemerovo. From July 25, 1935 - director of the Kemerovo Museum of Local Lore. 06/04/1937 arrested and accused of organizing espionage, sabotage and terrorist activities, training rebel personnel for the armed struggle against Soviet power and restoring the capitalist system in the USSR (Article 58 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR). Delivered to Novosibirsk, 12/07/1937. The NKVD “troika” sentenced her to VMN. 09.12.1937 shot in Novosibirsk. 03/12/1957 rehabilitated “for lack of corpus delicti.”
