Born in 1900 in the city. Lebedevo, Vilna province, Poland. He studied painting and drawing at the school of Bronislav Tarashkevich in Vilna, at the Vitebsk Art School in the sculpture department, at the Higher Art and Technical Institute in Moscow. Worked under contracts from home. Arrested 11/01/1937. Sentenced by the troika of the NKVD in the Moscow region. 12/20/1937 to VMN for obv. in counter-revolutionary fascist agitation. Shot on December 22, 1937. Burial place - Moscow region, Butovo. Rehabilitated 06/02/1958.
