Sorokin Grigory Emmanuilovich
Born in 1898 in Bobruisk, Jewish, no name. Head of the editorial board of the Writers' Union Publishing House. Lived in Leningrad (Griboyedov Canal Embankment, 9, Apt. 19). Arrested on 24.01.1935. By the resolution of the Special Security Department under the NKVD dated 15.06.1935, he was released with credit for his pre-trial detention. In 1949 - editor-in-chief of the Sovetsky Pisatel Publishing House. Lived in Leningrad (Griboyedov Canal Embankment, 9, Apt. 19). Arrested on 30.06.1949 by the Leningrad MGB UMGB. Sentenced by the resolution of the Special Security Department under the USSR MGB dated 22.02.1950 under Art. 58-10, 11 to 10 years in a correctional labor camp. Imprisoned in the Abez camp (Minlag) of the Komi ASSR. Rehabilitated on May 29, 1954 by the Judicial Collegium for Criminal Cases of the Supreme Court of the USSR.
