She graduated from the Leningrad Institute of Art History (1926) with a degree in art historian and museum historian of ancient Russian art. In 1924-1933. worked as a maternal and infant health nurse; in 1929-1933 - artist-copyist State. Hermitage. Arrested in 1933, accused of “belonging to a religious sect”, sentenced to 10 years in labor camp. She served her sentence in Belbaltlag, where she worked as an artist on the construction of the Tuloma hydroelectric power station, then at the BBK exhibition committee preparing exhibits for the All-Union Agricultural Exhibition. Activated in 1942. In 1943-1946. worked as an artist of the Tyulkinsky rafting raid (Solikamsk district of the Molotov region (now Perm region). In 1946-1952 - artist of the Novgorod Special Scientific Restoration Production Workshop (SNRPM). Restorer of the Church of the Savior on Nereditsa and the Nativity Cathedral in the Ferapontov Monastery (copies frescoes).
