Weigelt Mikhail Vladimirovich

Genus. in 1894 in St. Petersburg; from the nobles; Graduated from the Mikhailovsky Artillery School and the Polytechnic Institute. Arrested on August 4, 1918. Released in December 1918. From February 1925 he lived in Sevastopol and worked at the Marine Factory. He was arrested at the beginning of 1931 and released in March 1931. In 1937, the head of the design bureau of the Marine Plant lived in Sevastopol. Arrested on 08/10/1937 (07/07/1937 in his autobiography). Approved on 02/03/1938 in the “Stalinist lists” for trial under the “1st category” (execution). Sentenced by a visiting session of the Military Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR to 10 years in labor camp. From 1939 - to the OKB in Bolshevo, then, together with the OKB, transferred to Leningrad. At the beginning of the war he was taken to Zelenodolsk. In 1944 he was sent to Novorossiysk to lift ships. He worked in the EPRON project group (Special Purpose Underwater Expedition), created from prisoner ship lifting specialists. Released on 08/10/1947 (07/07/1947 in his autobiography). He returned to Leningrad and continued to work at the OKB. Arrested again in May 1949. Sentenced by a Special Meeting at the USSR Ministry of State Security on August 27, 1949 to exile in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. Released in 1954. Died in 1958.
