Genus. 08/21/1947 in Moscow; Belarusian; arr. higher, b/p. Lived in Moscow. Arrested on 04/23/1985 while trying to emigrate with his wife, N. Sokolova, to Turkey across the Black Sea on a rubber raft. Sentenced by the Krasnodar Regional Court on December 2, 1985 under Article 70, Part 1 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR, 15, 64-a, 75 Part 1, 88 Part 1 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR (attempted treason, ASA, disclosure of state secrets and violation of currency rules operations) to 15 years in camps with confiscation of property and 5 years of exile. Imprisoned in the Perm camps (1986-1987 - VS-389/37, since 1987 - VS-389/35). During his imprisonment, he acquired several chronic diseases and was injured while working on a machine. 02/06/1991 Presidium of the Supreme Court on protest, deputy. gene. Prosecutor of the RSFSR overturned the verdict in terms of Article 70 Part 1 and dismissed the case for lack of corpus delicti; in terms of conviction under Article 15 and Article 64-a, he reclassified the actions under Article 83 Part 1, reducing the punishment to 10 years without links from conf. property, the rest of the sentence was left unchanged. After liberation he lived in Moscow.
