Genus. in 1921 in the village Mares (Glushkovsky district, Kursk region). Ukrainian. Graduated from a pedagogical school (specialist - art teacher). WWII participant, served in Basra. In 1946 married, had 11 children. He and his family became involved in the activities of the Pentecostal Church and became an elder. Lived in the city of Nakhodka (Primorsky Territory). Arrested on May 20, 1961. Convicted by the Nakhodka City Court to 5 years of a penal colony and 5 years of exile for “an attack on the personality and rights of citizens under the guise of performing religious rituals” (Article 227, Part 1). Osv. ahead of schedule in 1964 and sent into exile. After her departure, he moved to the station. Starotitarovskaya (Temryuk district, Krasnodar region). In the 1970s - leader of the Pentecostal movement for leaving the USSR for religious reasons. Arrested in 1979 In 1980 sentenced to 7 years in the camps on the same charge and under Art. 70, part 1. (“anti-Soviet agitation”). Imprisoned in the Perm camps (BC 389/36, in the so-called “large zone”). In prison he worked as an artist, hairdresser, and dishwasher. Osv. in April 1987 by pardon. place of exile - village. Uvat, Tyumen region. At the end of 1987 went to Canada with a group of fellow believers. Rehabilitated on May 18, 1992.
