Genus. in 1881 in Novgorod; Russian; b/p. Fellow student at St. Petersburg University Blok A.A. From 1912 to 1917 - privat-docent of Petrograd University, professor - philologist. Arrested on December 5, 1917, on charges of spreading slander against the Soviet regime. Released in February 1918 on bail. Arrested again on the same charge on 05/31/1918, he was kept in the Trubetskoy bastion of the Peter and Paul Fortress, cell No. 48. By resolution of the Cheka for the fight against counter-revolution and profiteering dated 11/27/1918 he was released from arrest. The manager worked pedagogical laboratory at the Elektrosila plant. Arrested following a denunciation in 1936, 04/01/1936 convicted by the Leningrad Regional Court under Art. 58-10 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR to 7 years in labor camp. While serving his sentence in Penitentiary Colony No. 14 (Novoezersky Penitentiary Colony), he was arrested on August 27, 1937. Sentenced on September 20, 1937 by a special troika at the NKVD for the Leningrad Region under Art. 58-10-11 Criminal Code of the RSFSR to VMN. Shot on September 24, 1937. Rehabilitated by the Supreme Court of the RSFSR on January 23, 1965.
